Popular Dead by Daylight Twitch Streamer Puppers has died at age 32 after living with ALS. Fans have taken to social media to pay their respects.

Puppers was most known for playing the survival horror game Dead by Daylight. Through the game he amassed a loyal following with his goal to “have some fun and entertain.” 

Unfortunately on June 2 2023, Puppers passed away after living with terminal ALS. In light of this loss, fans have taken to social media to praise an incredible man who also worked towards raising money for others living with the neurological disease. 

Fans Pay Tribute To Twitch Streamer Puppers 

The news came from the Twitter account Light in the Fog, a popular DBD event group. Forever in our hearts , eternally comfy”, it reads alongside a photo of Puppers himself. 

With the Tweet itself being seen by 4.7 million people, it has been accompanied with many people paying their respects. This included Ablegamers founder Steven Spohn who called Puppers “a true gaming champion.” 

“I’m sad the world lost a good disabled gamer today,” Spohn’s tribute reads. “A gamer with ALS, Puppers was a force in the DbD community. His LITF event raised over 270k to fight ALS. A true gaming champion by all metrics. My heart goes out to his friends, family, and community on this very difficult day.”

Dead By Daylight Pays Respect To Fallen Comrade

With Puppers being an avid player of Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight, the official Twitter account also paid their respects.

“Thank you for finding a home in The Fog. Your joy and love made it a better place, and it was an honor to be comfy with you. Puppers was, and always will be, one of the brightest lights in The Fog. Everyone that light touched is forever changed by having known him,” they wrote.

Since his death, his community at Light in the Fog have organised a Go Fund Me page to help cover funeral expenses. Since going live, it has already raised 28 thousand dollars.
