The Valiant is going to be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, THQ Nordic has announced. The Valiant is an action RTS with RPG elements, that was announced and released for PC last year, and it is set during the 13th Century across Europe and the Middle East. It is a game where there is no base building, instead the focus being your squad and smaller forces taking part in skirmishes.
“The Valiant is an upcoming action-RTS with RPG elements, designed to bring a fresh experience to players wanting something new in the genre,” said THQ Nordic when The Valiant was first announced. “Focused on more tactical combat with smaller forces, players encounter a sweeping, story-driven campaign where each mission’s challenge is unique.”
The key features of The Valiant include six hero squads to choose from with three different skill trees each, 15 single player missions in the campaign, and a number of weapons and tools to customise your squads. There are two multiplayer modes, competitive and cooperative. Up to three players can join up in the Last Man Standing mode in which waves of enemies and bosses attack the players. There’s also a PvP mode which offers 1v1 or 2v2, with players fighting to capture points and build up their forces. As you might expect you can level up and unlock loads of nice customisations for your heroes.
